Preserving categories within a contact when "forwarding" it ...
Hello everyone, We are on a hosted Exchange server, accessing a single mailbox with Outlook client (some 2003, some 2010). We used to be able to forward a contact to another mailbox on the Exchange server from this "main" mailbox and the contact would preserve it's category. Now it simply dissapears. I read somewhere that sending as a vCard file is suppose to copy the category content to the note field, but this is not happening either. We thought that it was maybe the new default rule that remove categories from mails that is "on" by default with Outlook 2007/2010 that caused this problem, but deactivating the rule does not fix things. I hope I'm giving enough information for you to be able to help us on the matter. Thanks !

Hi, I did a test in my lab machine and find the category will be reset to none after forwarding it to another user. I tried both vCard and business Card Thanks, Simon Wu
